no the airplane is not a wishing star

*sila rujuk entry bawah, kalau tak, tak faham*

let's imagine we are all in a dream, a dream where all of us are now in front of the gates of Paradise. and now, we're gonna recall back some moments that we've just passed through in able to be right where we are now.. in front of the Gates of Paradise.

some of us just went through al-hisaab, but let's imagine we are the people of that Prophet saw said that are not being accountable for --they will straight go to Jannah! Straight! no hisaab, no questioning, no torture, no nothing.

and the Prophet saw continued and said, these people --when they enter Jannah, the first person to enter will not enter until the last people will enter. what does this mean? they will enter Jannah in a straight line! together! in some narration, the Prophet saw said they will join hands when stepping into Jannah.

and then the Khatib paused.

...

"they will join hands when stepping into Jannah..."

...

at this time, some people's faces dah start berubah, they got what the khatib trying to say. I, as always, tak faham-faham lagi, still main kuis-kuis carpet lagi hehe but then he continued,

"as i said at the beginning, this is your dream. so who you do see joining hands with you at this moment, taking the first step into Jannah?"

my hand stopped menguis carpet.

"who do you wish to hold your hands and enter this.. this miraculous everlasting full of happiness garden?"

who?

a mother hold tightly to her little baby,

eyes closed,

tears flowing.

i took a glance at my mom's face. her head faced down, my cheeks turned red.

"don't think of one, Allah is far more Merciful than that!"

a namelist of people popped in my head. one by one. and the names kept adding. at this point on, i couldnt really concentrate on the khutbah. ya Allah... there are so many people.. ya Allah... i want all of them...

mama, daddy, along, angah, iman, baby... my friends lagi...

"what are you doing all this while? your actions are as if you wanna enter Paradise alone? you wanna enter Paradise alone? you sitting in your castle looking at your breathtaking gardens.. but you're enjoying the view by yourself, yes there's the angels and the hooral ayn and all, but those you loved? will they be next to you enjoying as well?"

truthly,

i also want to hold..

his hands too... and that is my perfectly complete ending.

p/s: please help me make my wish come true? please..

ultimate victory, ultimate kebahagiaan

(i couldnt find the exact word in english tht truly fits kebahagiaan as i intended it to sound so yeah, title rojak hehe)

khutbah tadi was amazingly beautiful, i think almost everybody cried in silent.
the title of today was
"At the Gates of Paradise :')"

the khatib started off with saying Why do you fast?

Why do I fast?

Why do we all fast?

and then he went on with saying yeah, because Allah commanded us to do so. but you see, from the Prophet saw, we knew that Ramadhan is divided into three.

the beginning is Rahmat, tht's why we see many people in the first 10 days nonstop giving food to neighbours, go visit orphanage, buy boxes of water bottle to place at the corner of masjid --- all seeking for the rahmat of Allah.

the middle is Magfirah, forgiveness from Allah.. people starts to prolong their dua at this time because a wise person would understand how vital this part of the month is. because.. we.. all of us.. are not free from sins...

and the ending is Najatun-Nar. and this is the complete ending.

*to be continued*

beyond the clouds

on my way back from my arabic class one day, my friend asked me, "ma ma'na rayyan?" so i answered, "aks 'atsyan. leysh?"

"what is the meaning of rayyan?"
"it's the opposite of thirsty. why?"

my friend smiled and asked me another question, "what is the name of the Gate for those who are fasting?" as i was about to answer, something hit me. heh, i smiled.

and tht was when i discovered something beyond.

beyond human intellect capability.

you see, there are 8 gates of Paradise. but only one of them, Allah reveals its name. and that is Ar-Rayyan. and through hadith, we know that this gate is only for those who are fasting. no one else can enter Paradise through this gate. and at the beginning of this post, you already knew what rayyan literally means. doesn't this make you smile as well? :)

itulah Aqmar, terlampau excited sgt

okay so maaaaaybe ada a bit mistake from my last post.. it's not my last post after all hik hik

remember where i said lagi dua hari nak puasa tak sabar and all. well today is after-the-dua-hari tapi i miscalculated T___T ouch, and today is not Ramadhan yet. but today, barulah betul untuk ckp Ramadhan is lagi dua hari.... (ahhh maluu kat Twitter, Facebook dah ber-buhbye buhbye dah, aaaaa maluuuu)

typing pun jadi perlahan gila sbb tgh..malu....

k tkpe Aqmar.. jgn malu..evryone makes mistake..(ahah ayat syok sendiri)

anyway! (cpt2 tukar topic) just so you know, im still re-adapting with the weather here (walaupun dah 3 bulan duduk sini balik? yup walaupun.) it's 50 degrees in the day TE.TA.PI. at night time it'll be as low as 38 degrees alhamdulillah :) subuh pulak pukul 3 and maghrib around late 6, aaand i think tht's more than fine :) kalau london, lagi lama. here i'll show you an approximate schedule subuh - maghrib

DOHA : 3 am - 6 pm
LONDON: 4 am - 10 pm
MSIA: 6 am - 7 pm

man, you malaysians have it easyyy okay. dah lah baru panas sikit nak complain bertubi-tubi kat twitter.

jangan..

Allah tak suka orang yang tak bersyukur.

malaysia lah i think timing dia paling best and weather dia sgt foine. so kalau kita punya Ramadhan tak dpt "full marks", apa alasan yg kita boleh bagi masa "report card day"...

nanti?

.....

so okay people! today imma gonna talk a lil bit about wht we should do masa Ramadhan. yes, a lil bit. (he he he he) so im guessing banyaaak lah kita dgr pasal puasa bukan lah hanya menahan diri dari lapar dan dahaga, etc etc. and stuff like nak habis kan baca Quran dlm bulan Ramadhan, etc etc. as cliche as those statements sound, tht doesnt mean they are off from being true!

Ramadhan ni memang bukan month of fasting shj, it is also a month of Quran! :)

tht's why kalau kita tgk kan, para sabahat kan, mcmane dorg baca Quran, mmg .. subhanAllah!

"it is reported that Qatadah used to complete a recitation of the Quran once every seven nights, and when Ramadhan came, once every three nights. During the last ten nights, he would complete a recitation every night."

bam.

patutlah the best amongst people are the para sahabat.

kita masa kecil2 pernah khatam Quran sekali, terus betul2 khatam baca Quran.

and kita igt senang macam tu, kita confirm "good report card" dlm gengamam..

...

this, really, goes to myself first before anyone else. i truly need this reminder as i am also an insan. and an insan literally comes from a root word "forget" so we are naturally forgetful.

i received a lot of gmails (terima kasih kawan-kawan :), telling me about ideas on how to plan our schedule accordingly so that insyAllah we could complete the recitation of the whole Quran during Ramadhan.

and i find this one particular idea suits me best, that is ----> reading 4 pages every fard prayer! (you could divide 2 pages before and after)

let's do a bit of math here shall we?

(darab dgn 5 kali solat)

4 x 5 = 20 right?

then times 30 days of Ramadhan = 600!

and a normal copy of Quran has 604 pages (like mine! hik hik) and the last 4 pages, i bet anyone could finish within minutes. so i think insyAllah, we could really do it! jyeahhh

okay, people, tht's it for today. i pray to Allah, He'll blessed all of you who are reading and may we are placed amongst those whom be bestowed favours, amin! :)
